This exquisite vase features warm brown and vibrant orange tones that beautifully showcase the characteristic style of mid-century design. BAY KERAMIK was founded in 1934 by Eduard Bay in the charming town of Ransbach-Baumbach, which is located in the picturesque region known as the Kannenbäckerland in western Germany. This area, often referred to as the "potters' land," is a historic centre of the ceramics industry and home to the largest clay deposit in Europe. Initially, the company's output focused primarily on utilitarian wares until the early 1950s, when a greater emphasis on decorative items began to emerge. As a result, production and sales expanded rapidly throughout the decade, and by the early 1960s, BAY KERAMIK had fully established itself as a leading manufacturer of fine art ceramics, highly regarded for its innovative designs and craftsmanship.
